Jazz' 7th Birthday Cake

There is no denying that Jennylyn Mercado of GMA 7 is one hot momma, actress, singer and songwriter. Her showbiz career has definitely been on a roll after bagging the Best Actress Award for her performance in the movie "English Only Please" at the 40th Metro Manila Film Festival in 2014. The year 2015 has been great so far, for Jennylyn as well, being hailed the Philippine's Sexiest by FHM, landing projects in both film and television, closing a number of endorsement deals plus opening up a new business to boot and the "it girl" of 2015 is showing no signs of slowing down.

When it comes to taking on projects and endorsements, Jennylyn like other celebrities of her status, isn't one who decides on a whim but really invests a lot of time to think it through before making a move. Celebrities like her have to take into account the impact one decision has on her career, factoring in her image as a public figure and role model to her fans.
Despite her busy schedule, the actress tries her best to be hands on in monitoring the development of her business, Fit & Form Spa and Salon. She even had to hire a new contractor after she was not satisfied with the first layout.
“Another gastos pero, sige na, para matapos na,” she relates, laughing. “Kasi ayaw ko naman mag-settle na lang ng gano’n, e, kasi hindi maganda, hindi ka happy tapos sige lang? Sayang naman. Gusto namin lahat ng area puwede sila mag-picture, relax, ‘yong colors maganda, pati lighting maganda.”

Fit & Form Spa & Salon, located in Kamuning, Quezon City has been open since June of this year, which Jennylyn started putting up last December. Here's a few photos of the grand opening by Nice Print Photography:

Jennylyn Mercado as we all know is a mom, a very serious role she takes head on. And when it comes to her beloved son Jazz, we can expect only the best. Is it any wonder why she chose Ms. Aileen and the Honey Glaze Cakes team to create Jazz' 7th birthday cake for his big day?  The actress wanted one of the best in the Philippine cake industry and she definitely got it! This celebrity mom was a hands on one, when it came to every single detail of planning her child's party last month.

So it's green and black for the birthday boy and I love how the cake screams rock and roll from the top down to the last layer. Placing a guitar and drum set was a nice touch too! Ms. Aileen really did an exquisite job in putting into life the design specified by Jennylyn. I wish I was there to see it up close, the final product really looks spectacular aesthetically, don't you agree? Any 7 year-old boy would be thrilled to have this as a center piece in his birthday, that's for sure.

From the looks of it, I guess it's safe to say that both the celebrity mom and birthday boy loved the cake from Honey Glaze Cakes which fits perfectly with the party's overall theme. I'm quite sure that Jennylyn, Jazz and their guests enjoyed eating it for dessert as well, knowing how delicious their premium cakes are.
